Mounting Structures

Mounting Structures

All our installations of solar panels are provided with mounting systems manufactured with high quality Aluminium which carry static certification for wind and weight pressures.

The use of stainless steel nuts and bolts ensures the longevity of the mounting systems. The fact that there are no welded joints, adds to the avoidance of rust for long periods.

SINGLE STACK MOUNTING SYSTEM-FLAT ROOFS

If space is adequate the mounting system is placed on the flat roof facing south at 27 degrees angle. This offers the PV panels the ideal angle facing the sun for maximum output (1,700 KWhs per year/per KW installed).

DOUBLE STACK MOUNTING SYSTEM-FLAT ROOFS

In situations that availability of roof space is limited; PV panels can be stacked in pairs (in portrait or landscape) onto a Double Stack Mounting System, therefore halving the required roof space. To remain within the maximum height requirement of 1.20 meters, the double mounting system needs to be fixed at an angle of 18 degrees thus reducing annual output by 3% to 1649 KWhs per year per KW installed.

TILED ROOF MOUNTING SYSTEMS

Rows of aluminium rails are placed onto a tiled roof which in its turn is secured with ‘S’ shape hooks onto the beams which are located below the tiles. The PV panels are ‘locked’ onto the aluminium rails. The angle of the PV panels is pre-determined by the existing angle of the tiled roof which can be around 15-18 degrees, thus slightly reducing output by 3% down to 1649 KWhs per year per installed KW.
