Orientation of Solar Panels

To maximize the thermal performance of your system, solar panels should face the south. The actual performance is slightly reduced if the solar panels are facing the south by less than 45 degrees to the east or the west.
In case that the solar panels are facing the east or west away from the south by up to 90 degrees, the addition of an extra solar panel will remedy the loss of thermal performance.

Hot Water Boiler

The copper lined hot water boilers are used in storing the thermal energy of water once it is produced and transferred through the solar panels. In case of lack of adequate sunshine or in need of larger volumes of hot water, there is the option of heating water by switching on the electric element located inside the boiler.

  1. Standard boiler (without the use of water pressure pump): 0.65mm inner circle lining and .90mm for both inner ends.
  2. Reinforced boiler (with the use of water pressure pump): 1.5mm-2mm inner circle lining and 2mm for both inner ends.

Water Pressure Pumps (made in Italy)

For additional water pressure it may be required that a Water Pressure Pump is installed alongside your water supply system. In such cases the inner copper lining of the hot water boiler will be of reinforced type to withstand the additional pressure.

    Low noise and high pressure performance to 2.5 bars. Available with 3, 4 and 5 impellers. Anti -corrosive and rust -proof materials. Motor with thermal overload protection. Double sealing system between motor and hydraulic part. High resistance to frost and icing. Supplied with power cable with plug, switch and self -sealing fitting.
  2. ECOPLUS 230 (for water flow from ground to the roof or long distances).
    Low noise and high pressure performance to 3.6 bars. Available with 3, 4 and 5 impellers. Anti -corrosive and rust -proof materials. Motor with thermal overload protection. Double sealing system between motor and hydraulic part. High resistance to frost and icing. Supplied with power cable with plug, switch and self -sealing fitting
